Summary:
We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our Velocity Account Executive Team in Vancouver, BC.
What your team does:
Our Account Executive, Velocity team is rapidly growing and focused on driving Clio value for law firms. They generate pipeline, forecast opportunities, evaluate technical product fit, and partner towards solutions to complex business problems leveraging Solution Engineers and our Channel. They are human and high performing; while also working cross-functionally to drive Clio’s development of the #1 cloud based solution for law firms.
What you’ll work on:
Day-to-day management, coaching and mentorship of your Account Executive Velocity team
Hold team accountable to attainment metrics and KPI’s
Advise on strategic deals and negotiations; join negotiations as required
Deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual MRR target for your team;
Maintain accurate salesforce data for your team and provide reliable forecast information to upper management
Actively participate in territory planning, opportunity development and in-territory events for your team
Run pilot projects and experiments that help your team and the segment level up
Diligent use of sales tools (Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, ScratchPad, ZoomInfo, Sales Nav, Gong, etc.)
Recruit, hire, onboarding and provide continued training to meet headcount needs, increase efficiency and attainment of team
Lead by example on all issues pertaining to sales team management;
Expertly manage day so that time can be split between team management and other segment and leadership initiatives
Collaborate with sales leadership and our extended cross-functional teams to represent the Velocity segment comprehensively to the business including in strategic planning with solution engineering, marketing, CS, product, enablement, GTM, finance, legal, security, etc.
Lead and support cross-functional initiatives and segment all-hands;
Partner with Sales Director in the case of escalations and be a trusted advisor for Velocity and All-Sales

What you bring:
3+ years of experience leading an inside sales team (or equivalent experience)
2+ years closing deals in the SaaS industry
High performing in previous roles
Adaptable and growth oriented mindset open to feedback both delivering and receiving
History of coaching high-performing teams who are motivated to do better and think bigger as a result of your leadership.
Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI
Serious bonus points if you have:
Experience in the legal industry
Experience selling an operating platform
Experience in a hyper-growth environment

The expected salary range* for this role is $73,700 to $92,200 to $110,700 CAD. The expected new hire commission range for this role is $73,700 to $92,200 to $110,700 CAD. The opportunity to earn commissions beyond the stated amounts are possible as commission earnings are uncapped.*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
