Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Partner Account Manager to join our Channel team! This role will be based in Canada and will support partners across North America.
Who you are:
You are a strategic thinker and relationship builder, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record in sales. As a Senior Partner Account Manager, your focus will be to strategically build relationships with current and prospective partners, while also managing a pipeline of incoming leads from the Clio partner network.
What your team does:
The Clio Channel Team is rapidly growing and focused on building and managing relationships with our Channel partners to drive sales and expand our market reach. The team is focused on activating existing relationships and building new partnerships with firms consisting of Law Consultants, IT Consultants, Managed Service Providers, Accountants/Bookkeepers, and SEO/Marketing Consultants.
What you’ll work on:
Establish strong relationships with key partners, understand their business goals, and find the “win, win, win” for them, Clio and our common customers.
Identify high-value partners and collaborate closely with them to create joint plans. These plans should aim to generate partner-sourced revenue opportunities for Clio and boost product and service revenue for partners.
Act as a liaison between partners and the Clio Sales team, and as a member of the “deal team” to optimize the conversion of partner referrals.
Act as a leader on the team and contribute to the development and execution of Clio's overall partner program and strategy.
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide optimal support for partners.
Work with Clio’s partner marketing team to support our partners with joint GTM and co-marketing activities.
Identify and source new strategic partners that expand and strengthen Clio’s Partner ecosystem via inbound follow-up and outbound outreach.
Express and articulate our product vision, roadmap, strategies to internal and external partners.
Drive and lead efforts to increase internal and external awareness of our channel development initiatives, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Finance as needed.
Travel to conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings as required.
What you bring:
5-7 years of experience specifically working with Channel partners, ideally within a mid-market software company, or in a comparable role.
Experience working with cross-functional teams with revenue targets.
Experience working with partners across different geographies and time zones.
Deeply data-driven, naturally curious, and passionate about working with others to drive growth.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Self-motivated, well organized, task-driven and deadline-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communicator.
Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Google Suite or similar

Possess a network of partners ideally suited for Clio’s Channel Program.

In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
