Summary:

What you’ll work on:

As the Staff Product Manager for the Data Ecosystem team at Clio, you will lead the vision, strategic planning, and roadmap execution of deeply technical solutions that are both built for customers as well as other Clio product teams. Your focus will be to significantly improve Clio’s customers’ experiences by unifying data across Clio's diverse product suite.

Strategic Product Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Data Ecosystem, aligning with Clio's overarching business objectives and customer needs.

  • Balance the needs of two customer groups– Clio users and other Clio product teams.

  • Work cross-functionally with other product managers, engineers, designers, go-to-market partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences backed by innovative data solutions.

  • Analyze and understand the differences in data structures and behaviors across Clio's products, particularly focusing on common object types.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch for both user-facing products and Clio product teams.

  • Partner closely with your engineering and design counterparts to develop best practices and processes to deliver value to users through developing new features and products and maintaining existing features and products.

  • Utilize data analytics and user insights to track key metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for product optimization and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including customers, other product teams, and go-to-market teams, to gather insights, feedback, and requirements that inform product development and improvements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring alignment across departments and effective communication of product goals and milestones.

What you bring:

  • Over 6 years of experience in product management or engineering management roles within the tech industry, with a proven track record of managing and enhancing complex software products or platforms.

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and work with diverse data structures and database systems.

  • Familiarity with data engineering practices such as ETL, data modeling, and more..

  • Experience conducting user research, gathering feedback, and using data to inform product decisions that enhance the user experience.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive product initiatives forward.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Prior experience in the legal tech industry or a strong understanding of the legal services market, including familiarity with legal practice management software and the needs of legal professionals.

  • Experience working with multi-product ecosystems and unifying data across different applications.

The full salary range* for this role is $152,100 to $190,100 to $228,100 CAD..

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
