About the role
You love to solve business problems using technology. You are at the crossroad between being a business-oriented person and senior data and analytics manager. You like automating and scaling things that people do manually and helping the entire organisation save days of tedious work!. You are ready to roll up your sleeves so that you can have a direct impact on Amenitiz by enabling our sales and marketing teams to achieve their mission of generating cash efficiently by enabling our customers.
As our Marketing Operations Manager you are:
In charge of optimising our marketing processes and systems, ensuring that our marketing efforts are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our revenue goals. You play a key role in overseeing the effectiveness of our inbound lead management, campaign execution, and data-driven marketing strategies.
You develop and maintain standardised reporting, dashboards, and data models to keep our marketing performance at peak efficiency. This is your chance to leverage your analytical skills to provide actionable insights and drive significant improvements in our marketing initiatives.
You excel at managing complex projects, ensuring that our marketing operations are streamlined and that campaigns are executed flawlessly. Your ability to oversee multiple channels—such as email, social media, and content marketing—ensures that every marketing operation is aligned with our overall strategy.
Finally, you have the opportunity to continuously optimize our marketing processes, from lead nurturing to SEO, ensuring that all initiatives contribute effectively to our revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Inbound Management
Supervise Martech Stack Management: Oversee the effectiveness and integration of the martech stack, ensuring it aligns with overall marketing and revenue goals, while the dedicated martech team handles direct management. management of a Direct report
Inbound Lead Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of the inbound lead pipeline, ensuring effective nurturing and progression of leads through the funnel.
Lead Quality Management: Implement and refine lead scoring, no-fit management, and segment/audience analysis to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Nurturing Performance and Management: Monitor and optimise lead nurturing efforts, ensuring they contribute effectively to moving leads through the funnel and achieving revenue goals.
Upper Funnel Analytics and Channel Performance
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse upper funnel performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve channel effectiveness.
Channels Tooling and Performance Monitoring: Supervise the tools used for channel performance monitoring, ensuring they provide accurate and actionable data.
Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and optimise marketing processes, improving efficiency and impact across all channels.
Campaign and Content Performance Optimization
Campaign Performance: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, using data insights to optimise and refine strategies for improved outcomes.
Measure Content Performance: Analyse the performance of content marketing efforts, tracking their contribution to lead generation and revenue goals.
Monitor Social Media Metrics: Track and analyse social media performance, providing insights to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
Budget and ROI Management
Track and Optimise ROI: Continuously monitor and analyse the return on investment of marketing activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure cost efficiency and revenue alignment.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Provide Insights and Analytics to Support Revenue Goals: Deliver regular reports and insights to the marketing and revenue teams, ensuring decisions are driven by accurate and actionable data.
Track Lead Progression and Provide Data-Driven Insights: Monitor the progression of leads through the funnel, providing insights to improve conversion rates and overall pipeline health.
Qualifications
1. Technical Proficiency
SQL, ability to write own queries and pull own data, ability to design and build reporting.
Knowledge/Experience: Deep understanding of marketing technology stacks, including CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), marketing automation platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta campaign builder). Strong capability in integrating and optimising these tools to improve marketing effectiveness.
Behavioural Element: Operates with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues. Stays updated on the latest technology trends and continuously seeks opportunities to enhance the tech stack.
2. Analytical Mindset
Knowledge/Experience: Proven ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights. Experience in developing and managing dashboards and reporting tools that track key marketing metrics and drive decision-making.
Behavioural Element: Approaches challenges with a data-driven mindset, constantly seeking to quantify results and measure the impact of marketing initiatives. Comfortable making decisions based on data and advocating for changes backed by metrics.
3. Process Optimization Expertise
Knowledge/Experience: Experience in streamlining and optimising marketing processes to improve efficiency and consistency. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and the ability to document and standardise best practices.
Behavioural Element: Continuously looks for ways to eliminate inefficiencies and improve workflows. Takes a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and implements solutions that drive operational excellence.
4. Project Management Skills
Knowledge/Experience: Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
5. Communication and Collaboration
Knowledge/Experience: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT.
Behavioural Element: Operates as a collaborative team player who values input from others and builds strong relationships across departments. Demonstrates a clear and open communication style that fosters teamwork and alignment.
6. Adaptability and Agility
Knowledge/Experience: Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments , preferably from Seed to Series C where priorities can shift rapidly. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and re-prioritize tasks as needed.
Behavioural Element: Embraces change and is quick to pivot when necessary. Maintains a positive attitude in the face of challenges and remains flexible in approach to achieve the best outcomes.
