Your mission:

As a Video Editor Intern, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, working closely with the media house team members. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing various video works already done. Also, to be able and open to learning from the media house team on how to continuously develop the brand’s video identity.

About the role:

As our Video Editor Intern you will:

• Assemble raw footage and upload it to our data storage device
• Review and select the best footage to create compelling video content
• Edit videos according to a specific storytelling
• Work closely with the graphic and motion design teammates to add graphics, text, and animations that enhance the video’s visual appeal
• Ensure audio quality and synchronization is consistent throughout the video
• Stay current with the latest editing software and techniques
• Export final videos in the desired format and resolution, ready for distribution.
• Be aware of the best practices in terms of formats, pace, length, visual triggers, etc.
• Be able to suggest great audio options that fit the video’s overall mood (from music to sound fx)

About you:

As our Video Editor Intern you will have:

• Previous experience of video editing using Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or any other non-linear professional video editing software.
• Knowledge of video compression standards and optimization for web and social media.
• Fluent communication in English is essential
• Fluent communication in French is a big plus
• Having filming knowledge is a plus
